The TOEFL iBT® test is to evaluate the English proficiency of people whose native language is not English. The scores of the test are primarily used as a measure of the test taker’s ability to use English in an academic environment.
The TOEFL iBT® test is given in English and administered online. There are four sections (listening, reading, speaking, and writing) which take a total of about four and a half hours to complete, including check-in.
